In 2019 I needed a LUDICROUS goal…life was feeling flat and I wanted to feel alive again. With little athletic background, I set out to complete an Ironman Triathlon.
In 2020, as we were all adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer one month before my 1st Ironman!. Two weeks after the race I underwent a radical prostatectomy.
I began writing this blog to chronicle my progress toward such a monumental goal. Now, as an Ironman and prostate cancer survivor, I’ve begun to share how I’m adapting to life while I continue training.
As we say….Go One More!
