After yesterday’s epic ride and endurance grind with the #mindrightendurance crew, I was feeling it. My core is so sore that taking a deep breath is uncomfortable 😣.
Today we had an easy 2 hr (mostly) trail run just so our legs did get too relaxed. By the end (9.5 miles for me) I knew that I’d pushed to by body to its limit...for now. I grabbed a seat in the SAG vehicle and watched the others do the final ride before our wrap-up activity.
In the end, I didn’t do everything, yet I pushed and pushed hard. I learned about some of the holes in my fitness and how well my surgical recovery is coming along. I’m grateful that my body responded to my demands and that it allowed me to dip into the darkness just a little and test the water.

Today I had a lot of “fun” with the crazies at #mindrightendurance as we pushed our limits. We rode 95 miles with a 7 mile time-trial and brick run mixed in for fun 😭.
You don’t know until you go for it 💪🏾.

This morning I was excited to put a strong swim session in the bag. Apparently I didn’t fuel or hydrate properly... after 2000 yds my feet and calf muscles wouldn’t stop cramping.
I made the most of what I could and left the pool feeling disappointed.
