Medal Monday & Ironman 70.3 Eagleman rapid race recap.
Although I didn’t meet my ego-driven target of a sub 6hr finish, I did smash two important goals. They were to swim and bike harder than I’ve done in the past. I haven’t had the courage to get outside my comfort zone and risk blowing up.
I did that shit this time!
Swim - 35min a PR ✅ and I still had more to give.
Bike - 2h57min, not the fastest time but definitely the strongest effort by far - Average power of 247 Watts which is a PR ✅. Surprisingly, my legs were not trashed…there was more in the tank 😊.
Run - embrace the suck and keep pushing . 👎🏾 . Physically, I felt fine, but mentally I was done. I’m constantly dealing with all kinds mental friction when I run. Such as limiting beliefs, fear and big-ole buckets of bullshit. This is my Everest ⛰.
Of course the time spent with my #trifamily made this an awesome++ experience. I always leave feeling fuller than when I arrived. Congratulations to everyone who showed up and pushed themselves yesterday.
A full race recap will be published on my blog in a few days.

Go time 😁! ...
Long course triathlon races are individual events 💯.
But, triathlon is a community of beautiful people who are constantly supporting others while pushing themselves to new levels.
I love both of the experiences.
Thanks to my #trifamily for the support and sharing the smiles and positive energy.
Rest up and let’s do the damn thang 💪🏾!

Lucy 🚲 is packed and ready to travel 🧳….It’s race week 🥳 🏊🏽 🚲 🏃🏾 .
Soooo… I get to spend quality time on the treadmill and stationary bike 😀.
At least my sunrise bendy-stretchy 🧘🏾♂️ sesh was awesome. I tried a new headstand and kept falling over. #challengeaccepted.
