I was running myself a little too hard with other parts of life so I took a few days off. I listened to my body and rested.

Squeezing it in between the work stuff.

Two hours of practicing running by feel. The Marine Corps Marathon 50k is in 14 days. I plan to run it entirely by feel. I’m going to remove the pace field from my watch.

Stay focused, you goal is getting closer.

Today is a good day to put in some work and move toward those #goals 👊🏽.

Surrounding myself with people who constantly raise their own bar, and continuously push themselves is important. I find that even contemplating resting on my laurels has become uncomfortable. And, if they sense that I’m coasting, they won’t hesitate to pull my coat and ask me “what’s up” or “meet us for xyz session” or “do this race with us”. They are all various reminders to
